l series into 1200 engine mounts

Just wondering what rubber engine mounts people have used to mount a l series in a 1200, I was thinking of using the v8 rover mounts and make my xmember to suit

If you send a PM to Kdogg, he might be able to help you. From memory though, he used a combo of Datsun bits and pieces (possibly a hybrid of 1200, Stanza and 910 Bluebird).

Some guys use Escort or RX7 round rubber pucks, or stock 1200 rubbers. Most use 1600 mounts.

Yeah i used the rover type mounts on L16 conversion to 1200 sedan. We just unpicked the mounts off a stanza crossmember and aligned them to fit the blank 1200 crossmember.
