Hey guys! My name is Travis, I am VERY new to the whole Datsun scene, in fact I haven't taken possesion of the 1976 Datsun HB210 I have purchased yet. I am originally from the Honda scene, in fact I own a 1994 Acura Integra GSR as my Auto-X and Drag car, Anyways one of my friends from Highschool sold me his 1976 B-210. It's in alright condition, Not much rust on the body but a fair bit on the rear leafs and I havent inspected the front end yet. It is an automatic with an A14 engine (woohoo 80 stock HP! lol. I plan on giving it a good tune up (Ie. Air filter, Oil change, Tranny fluid and diff fluid change, sparkplugs, battery, and Alternator and Fan belts, This car has been sitting since 2008 and needs new tires, but it started right up on first try. If I am missing something from my tune up (Other than brakes, because i know about them but will inspect them first) please let me know. Besides that I plan on using this car as my Daily Driver too and from work. I like my cars LOW so I have been doing reasearch on the Wiki on how I can acheive that, For the rear a simple Flip of the 2nd bottom Leaf will do for now, and for the front I plan to cut the coils and shortening the Struts But since this is an HB210 it shares suspension with the Datsun 610 am I correct? So instead of using 45mm inserts I can use Traditional 2" inserts Which for Starting out I was thinking 280ZX Monroe inserts just untill I buy some better coilovers. AS for bump steer spacers I am unsure what ones to use, My best guess would be 510\1600's because of the 2" struts but im still unsure those will work. I will Post pictures of the beast once I get her home untill then any insight into my HB210 would be greatly appreciated becuase I am finding it hard to research.

Welcome, Travis!

Tune-up does include new points & condensor, but not new spark plugs, fan belts or differential fluid. Plugs can last up to 100,000 miles and belts for a decade or more.

Inspect and replace as necessary.

See Tune-up for a list of maintenance items.
