Hi,

They are all messengers

ICQ stands for "I Seek you" and was one of the first instant messengers to apear, you can download the client in

ICQ Home

There are some security issues using icq

Theres a vulnerability in ICQ that allows anyone in the world to take control of your computer, agrees Carolyn Burke of F.S.C. Internet Corporation. All you need to have is ICQ running on your computer. You don?t even need to be logged in They could do something they wanted on your computer, including getting your financial information.?

At least 100,000 Canadians use the program, but the experts hope those numbers go down quickly. That?s because the company that makes it hasn?t released a patch for the problem. And that leaves only one alternative: turn it off and uninstall it, until they do. Or risk the
alternative, and let a hacker seek you

AIM stands for Miscrosoft instant messenger

YIM is the yahoo messenger found in messenger.yahoo.com

you can send a message to all this messengers directly from the club's forum, as long users provide they ICQ# or usernames for them in their profile page

cool

I've been running icq for a few years now and haven't had any trouble with it.
I also think that anyone dumb enough to have all there personal info on a computer without a hardcopy backup (or at least a copy on disk somwhere) almost deserve to be hacked.

mmmmm......I've gone way off topic here......oh yeah,..... I don't mean to offend anyone, just my opinion, (I just couldn't help myself, I just had to say it, get it of my chest, if you know what I mean)
