Hi
I read a lot of the stuff on here and got a lot of info.I race a 1200 delux with a14 engine on a oval track. I have an A14 with valves done 3 angled.a14 flywel made lighter and motor balanced.I have a problem with valve bounce at around 9000 rpm.The race ratio for the track is 3.9.I have gone to a 3.7 but then it seems that the motor doesn't ref up.The valve springs changed to opel 8v springs.Only allowed single springs.any suggestiions?

U probably dont want it to rev any harder than that. Remember it takes horsepower 2 move stiffer springs. U could try playin with wheel size 2 optimise ur gear ratio eg putting slightly bigger wheels with the 3.9 or smaller wheels with the 3.7 diff then u could find the middle ground of power and speed. Also u could play with tire pressures 2 change tire size slightly. Every bit counts.
