I drove a ute a little while ago with a single 40. You dont get the noise of the twins but it is a bit better. Power seems close to standard. Go for twins, webers/dellortos if you can be f***ed stuffing around or SU if you can find them.

Really cauz im thinking of getting 45mm cauz the motor has a small cam with a 1200 head ported and polished. With the twins how hard is it setting up compared to the singles?

you would need to spend the money on the manifold plus twins, then possibly leccy fuel pump and a regulator. Not too sure on the standard fuel pump on if it works with twins. I have a single 45dcoe on my worked a12 choked down of coarse and it goes great!
Hardness, well its much of a muchness, twins is probably going to me more difficult as you MAY need to alter the fuell setup but otherwise its pretty straight forward, keeping in mind that they'll most likely need to be dyno tuned... wich at a decent place i would be expecting to pay $500 plus...

I had twin 40s on my stock a12 with extractors. Did everything perfect for over 6 months then i sold the car. The noise was worth every cent. The standard fuel pump held up fine. I still have the round port a12 twin manifold if your looking for one.

I'm in the process of researching for running twin 45's on my A15.... I'm personally going to be switching to an electric fuel pump....

I was going to be buying the manifold and the twins privately, but now have decided I'm going to go with this....
