Well finally since they went normal clockwise direction there is now some peeps using the Honda engines in Locost lotus 7 and caterham kit cars how about in a datsun!?

Here is the bellhousing made by a Kiwi (no surprise there! Kiwis are way out there when it comes to conversions)

I often find damaged Hondas with K series engines in perfect condition it would definitely be something to have an engine that destroys pretty much all NA engines ever mass produced.

If Honda can shoe-horn a K20 into a Jazz engine bay, it would fit into a B10 Dave!
East-west K20Z4, coupled to a RE CR-V 6spd. 147kW 4WD 1000... Now there's a fabrication project for ya!

F20 would be much harder to come by and I think they're a taller motor as well. Would be sweet having an F20 though... 9K factory redline with a c/r 6spd, where 6th is 1:1! *Drools*

Custom bellhousing on that 'Yota box sure is nice Dave. Trust the Kiwis to come up with awesomely insane engineering!

Absolutely right on all counts but theres even the S2000 guys selling off their F20C to put in K24 engines which can be revved just as high with cheap cam upgrade by Skunk, they make more all round and had cheaper than finding another F20 or 22.
266hp with very minimal investment is inspiring to move to the dark side at least in the engine department. Torque craps over the s2000 F20c or F22c

Here are some samples....

Maybe too tall for a 1000 and exhaust on wrong side!

The one thing a K doesn't have that the F (and B) does is that phenominally severe VTEC kick. Sure, it's there, but iVTEC was designed to smooth the transition.

Then again, I've never had the opportunity to lay with anything beyond a stock standard one and going by this footage, if it can be done... Whoah Nelly!!

Eli Evans' (similar to the one in the footage) JAS Motorsport rally prepped G2 Jazz weighs 1120kg. Imagine it in a 1000 or 1200!!!
