I'm urgently chasing a front wheel cylinder, the one towards the front of the car, or re-seal kit.
I bought another Thou and I'm on a mission to get it on the road this weekend, can anyone in Perth help at all?
Cheers guys,
Al.

as you have probally already worked out, getting a seal kit on sunday is a bit much on boring Perth.

Im pretty sure that you can still buy new re-seal kits for the wheel cyclinders. Try any of the brake specialists in Perth. They will have them, but thats tommrrow.
As for second hand ones, Id help you out, but im not at home right now, but I can help you after this Friday.

Best bet I think would be Odin auto parts in Balcatta, I always go there first because they normally have the hard to get Datsun bits. Not sure if they are open tomorrow though but should be.

Cheers guys. I completely forgot about Odin Spares Nige, thanks for reminding me. I'll give them a call.
Reuben, I might take up your offer if I can't find any down here. The Thou I bought is your Daisy's twin; '69 blue 4dr. There's some rust on some panels, but the body is completely solid. She's lic'd, sweet A15, perfect dash and crash pad and even the original radio still works! On the other side, the thing has superlow lowering blocks (looks badass, but they're blocks) and the diff is locked (drives badass, but not practical). Also, the car was originally an auto and the mounts are super bodgy from the conversion. The linkages are still there though, so I'm mulling over switching it back to auto so Mrs DatsAmore can drive it. His n hers Thous!
I'll put some photos up soon.

Odin Spares FTW!! They only had one of the 4 possible wheel cylinders and it was the one I needed. Big ups Nige!

Hear hear! I better take the locker out of mine soon as well, before she goes "BANG!". I'll definitely keep it though, possibly for next years Targa West...

Dave, I finally started a thread on 1000.com and posted some pics, but here's a teaser just for you.
