Mikali,
If you have access to a shortened VP Commodore 4.1 ratio LSD that should do the trick, you can use VP Commodore discs & calipers rear :).
Was a pretty common car but you have to reengineer the diff (so if you're doing engineering at uni and have access to a workshop then you've got no problem).

Otherwise I'm just stabbing in the dark man.
What sort of front brake setup do you have (re: my last post, front drums to brakes)?

i dont believe there are any diff swaps u can do without stuffing around too much and spending a bit of cash. the 1200 ute diff will fit if u find one, not sure how strong, but u can change centres of the diff with those out of a bluebird i believe. otherwise do what ca18detman did and fitted a sigma scorpion diff, is lsd? + discs and also changeable ratios.what city r u doing uni?
