It doesn't say because few have an Automatic 1200, and even fewer have tried to bypass the switch.

What is your goal?

Trying to get things in order so I'm not scrambling around last minute .

oh that's right you converting from Automatic to manual.

Depends on the year.

There is a 6-terminal connector on the firewall just above the rocker cover.

Leave this connected as the other wires are needed.

Down by the tranmission where the harness ends. The starter wires are BY (black with Yellow stripe) or BR (black with Red stripe.

* Connect the two BY or BR wires together. This is for the starter
* Plug the two RB or R wires into the manual transmission Reverse Lamp switch

Along with the 2 BY and 2 RB there are 2 green wires ..I thought those green wires were the reverse switch?

Are you talking about wires at the 6-pin connector? I'd the leave that alone unless you want to run new wires all the way down to the transmission. I'd connect the nuetral start wires together at the end.

The two green wires are for the kickdown switch, which is in the automatic. No longer needed.
