a12 crankshaft sprocket removal

how do you remove the crankshaft timing chain sprocket,is it a press fit that you need a puller to remove it or does it slide off? as I'm fitting a new timing chain and sprocket kit and want to be prepared before I start

They just slide off. You wont need any special tools.

just tried to "slide it off" but its stuck solid maybe some prick has loctited it,will have to try a puller

I use two large screwdrivers from each side to "help" it come off.
