It's been too long since I let my 76 b210 go. I've tried to fill the datsun shaped hole in my life with many things but they all weren't datsuns. I'm currently looking at a 210/b310 with an auto. I plan to make it fun then ill take it to an autocross to see how it stacks up. I will need help locating a few things here and there. I'm sure this group will be as helpful as they always have been.

I do miss that beast but I couldn't bring it with me when I moved cross country.

This new car I don't plan to swap. I will be turbocharging it.

I have a question for the experts here. Where can I get a big front bar for the 210/b310
Addco no-longer makes theirs.

Will a turbo be good for autocrossing? I would think a supercharger would be the way to go as there is no throttle lag.

ADDCO, Cusco and Whiteline all seem to be gone. Maybe one of the univeral bars from Hellwig would work.

Maddat sells 22m one: http://maddat.com.au/sunny.php.

I've heard that the 1980-1981 S110 bar may work.

Or do what a lot of autocrossers are doing now: double-up the stock bar:

My plan is not for ultimate power just more everywhere. A smallish turbocharger pushing 7-8psi blowing through a carburetor should make for good response off boost and decent power on. Keep in mind this is an automatic car so response is already slow.

Good. For ultimate power, use a turbo. For better throttle response, use a blower is the old rule of thumb.

There was a guy saying the 200SX swaybar fit the 210, but I don't know if he had to do any mods to it.

Turbo response will be dictated by compressor flow. Small exhaust housing will spool up super quick, just limit top rpm.

I say turbo easier cheaper to set up for only that psi gain.

Rc a15tt was no slouch down.low rpm. And that had good HP gains over stock.

My experience with turbocharging has taught me that when properly sized a turbocharger will have fantastic response. I'm planing to use a T2 size turbo, probe GT intercooler and a weber dgav inside a custom box. I'm only hoping to see 130-150hp.

Nice! Do you have the A14 or A15 in your B310?
