Dipstick won't go in

I have taken delivery of a new a15 and pulled the dipstick and find that I cant get it back in. It seems to go about as far as where the tube enters the block. The tube looks ok but it does have a bend in it, but it looks as if it's supposed to be there.

Is it easy to replace the tube?

My guess the pan was installed with the dipstick in and the gasket slid when the pan was squeezed down. Your gasket is in the way. Use a rod or coat hanger to clean it out.

There is no clean way out, otherwise it makes a bigger mess
