Howcome i dont see hardly any lefthand steering 1200 coupes on the net? My mom had one when she was a teenager, and it was left hand steering. i belive it was a 71 1200 coupe. i think they are awsome little cars that you can make go pretty fast. what are the chances of me being able to find an early 1200 coupe thats left-hand steer?

You make no mention of where do you live. If you live in England,Japan,Australia,New Zealand,Jamaica,Aruba,India,,among other right hand drive nations, your chances are near to Zero. If you live in any other nation, the vast majority of nations drive on the left side, and you are going to have better chances. If the car was imported to your country(sounds like it ,your mom used to have one) ...then ,just look around and check your local auto magazinnes for information.

What city are you in,I am in Long beach,California, and here 1200's are dificult to find, but you have to check local car papers ,like the recycler in southern california, and keep an open eye for it.
The 1200 is a popular car in many countries, due to its little size and nice lines, makes a good little car for everybody, grandmas, moms, young guys, racers,it is truly a car that appeals to a very wide audience. In racing trim it is very nice and responsive. Restored as is it is a nice example of what a functional car is ,atractive and simple.
