can anyone tell me if the front disc brake stub axle assembly off a datsun sunny
is an easy option for retro-fitting to a datto ute or are they too different.
Cheers David

Yes, sure it has been done. Sunny brakes are larger than 1200 brakes too.

The stub-axle assembly is the strut, it is of one piece with the strut housing. Fit the 1200 spring to the sunny strut and bolt the whole thing in. Use a 1200 disc-brake master cylinder and brake lines. See B310 Strut Swap.

Or easier yet, bolt in the whole strut/brake assembly from a 1200 coupe.

No, not over the top. Many guys here think the Sunny brakes are not "enough". Should work fine.
