I was wondering if there were any of you US folks who would be interested in splitting the shipping costs on a couple of Australian market cars. I really want a wagon or a Ute and have been in contact with an importer but the shipping cost is the real killer on the deal. It sounds to me like one pays the same amount for the container whether it has 40000 Lbs of stereo equipment or 1500 Lbs of 1200 Ute in it.
Also, for you people in Australia, some help locating non-rustbucket runners would be appreciated.
All of this is just in the thinking stage right now. It may never get off the ground if there is no interest. Let me know.
