does anyone know what the torque should be on the headbolts for a 73 A-12? gotta put this head on tomorrow and I'm stuck. thanks.

tourque them to 55 foot pounds in 3 separate steps, in sequence. ie:30, 45, 55.
also make sure that the one oddball headbolt goes in the center right (pass side) bolt hole, it's the one the oil for the rockerarms flows past.


torque in this sequence:

7 9
5 3
2 1
4 6
10 8

this will help to eliminate a blown head gasket in the future
