Hi guys took my steering wheel off on the weekend to test fit the dash that Datrotor made me and noticed that the part that goes over the spine on the steering column has worn down not totally.It doesn't move around or have any play but are wondering whether or not I should change the boss.

Probably, but the spline is the locator really.

The strength should actually be on the taper so it's more important to bolt it down
