Just thought Id start with this pic to show how tall some engines are if peeps are thinking of using any of them, I dont have the A series height but surely would be like the Kent motor if not a tad taller as the Kent has bigger bores.

All the donks below are to scale and you can see how tall the 4age is even taller than a toyota 22R which is 2.4 Ltrs and the X-flow (Kent) is a tiny little thing not much bigger is the Pinto as the Pinto is like the CA18 no mains skirt big bores like a KA but still quite compact but all cast iron.
