how strong is a b210 a12 manual box

hey guys just wanted to know if a a12 4speed mans gearbox would support a 32/36 webber with a lumpy cam some port work and valve work?..it will be doing some around town running but mostly highway at 100k's...

As long as its in good condition, you wont have any problems.

Mine didnt have any problems behind a mild A15. Did over 100,000 k`s.

thats cool to hear thanks man!..what holds this motor back from making more rev is it the stock commpression or valave springs mabie.?..reason i ask is the cam specs im looking at building around make power between 3000 through to 7000..but i can always go milder

A lumpy-cam A12 will have less torque (twisting force) than a stocker, so easier on the gearbox.

Stock cam makes power 2000-6000 RPM. The stock carburetor limits the power after 5000 RPM.

What holds it back from higher revs is the valve springs. The Nissan dual valve springs are designed for 6400 RPM use. So get aftermarket springs.
