Hi Guys,

Looking to buy a Stumpy gearbox for a SR20DET 1200 ute project. Preferably in South Australia. Needs to be in good working order.

There are a couple available from Wreckers within SA however I wanted to put it out on the forum and see whether anyone has one laying around that they are keen to get rid of.

Cheers

Adam

Sorry guys, whats the difference between a 63a and a 71 series? Is it gear ratios or something like that? A lot of people have told me to go the stumpy due to the length and where the gear stick comes up. What gearbox would you guys suggest for this conversion? Any help would really be appreciated.

Skyline dr30 71b 5speed stumpy or d21 navara 71c 5speeds best bet.

Keep in mind hard to find now in ok condition. Harder when you break one lol.

71 series is the one but even the Stumpy or 71C can have trouble with big power or abused boxes and after many breakages peeps seem to go for the rb25det box but very exxy.
