Currently on the home page, "Recent Discussions in the Site" shows 10 discussions.

Since this is the only place posts are listed across forums, please consider increasing to 20. 20 should cover a 24 hour period, but 10 doesn't always. This will let us quickly check new posts.

Alternatively, show a longer list on a another page.

I like 20 and here's why. I stopped taking my computer home from work on weekends and so I have to catch up on Monday morning. I'm far too lazy to check all of the individual forums. (forae? What would be the Latin plural of forum? Sorry, I digress.) Anyhoo, that's my opinion.

I like it. I think it will help the site usability.

The speed of loading the home page isn't an issue for me. I use 56k dialup and I suspect the extra database lookup is faster than my download speed.

ive noticed when i go into a tread and hit back to return to the home page its a hell of a lot quiker than before, instant sometimes. changed anything to do with that?
