obviously 'roadworthy' means nothing in the USA and he wanted to be scared driving the car

$13,000 in parts and 2 years of labour and he believes that he could get $3,000 for it .... now THAT sounds more like it!

Don't be so quick to judge. Most states require annual or biannual safety inspections.

Here in oz you buy a car with a RWC and don't require another one until its sold. You could own it for 10 years and never maintain it.

I've seen the video and while it is a good testament to the young JDM culture of "build it don't buy it" i do agree the car is a #OOPS#box slapped together and is a hazard to other drivers.

More than likely he got around a loophole in the state inspection process.
