Hey was wondering if anyone out there has removed the handbrake lever and cable completely from the cab of a 1200 ute? I'm having dramas getting it out. Any advice would be appreciated.

Undo the 2 bolts 1 either side of lever follow the cable down tunnel to 2 philips head bolts in a bracket holding cable in place get underneath where cable comes through rear of cab theres a u shaped clip holding cable in place remove and slide it all out from in the cabin. Obviously after also disconnecting it from underneath where it joins to cable for rear.
