Here's my VIN or info plate from my car..just scroll down the page a little. It talks about there having an "A" somewhere on the plate but I can't find one on my
car. I had another 1200 that I know for a fact was an auto and it didn't have the "A" either. Any help is MUCH appreciated!

best to just look at the tunnel to determine it, there is significant differences such as round shift hole for manual and square for auto etc

some auto tunnels have a stitch line all the way around from factory, but i think some dont

there is also an additional mount in the tunnel for the shifter linkages in an auto which is fairly obvioud (round sleeve just behind the transmission mounts)

i thought the build plate that listed the ADR's says manual or auto on it, but could be mistaken
