I have in my car a14 motor, everything is lightened and balanced
the head is ported and polished, it has bigger valves, double valve springs.
There is also twin Dellorto 40s. The extractors is 4 into 1.
I also have sunny 5-speed gearbox.

What kind of Road Cam would be good, because now I have the one which
is done from original one, I would like to have better.

How much valve lift and how many degrees?

Quinn wrote from a14 at once, that it is easy to get 110 hp from
rear wheels,is it really - I maby have 100 hp from flywheel.

Finn, I have run the Nissan Motorsports "race cam #1" (part # 99996-H1031) in an A-14 with a single Weber side draft and 4 into 1 extractors on the street. It had a decent idle and really nice power. You will have to run the oversized lifters (part # 13231-78201) with that cam too. The lift is .487" and the duration is 300 degrees.
I don't think the cam or lifters were at fault, but I do feel I must mention that this engine of mine did start bending one pushrod (#4 intake) on a regular basis. I think the problem is on the valve side of the rocker assembly and therefore nothing you need to worry about. I recommend this cam.

that duration is measured at 0 degrees lift I'm guessing, I was about to say that was NOT a road cam. I guess the extra lift is from the oversized lifters too? I always take my cam duration from 0.050 degrees lift, as alot of people seem to do the same. would that cam be not so wild to say, lend the car to your mum or girlfriend to drive up the shops?

what head do u have. Nissan GX Head is good it has larger everything so if u port and polish, add double valve springs, skim it to up the compression and flow test it u will notice the difference. i cant rember what cam it had but it started pulling from 3500 - 7000. to achieve 105- 110 hp is not EASY but its do-able. also what fuel do you use? Avgass?

I don't think the lifters had much to do with the extra lift. Looking at them side to side with the stock ones that came out, they were identical except for a larger "mushroom" on the cam follower end.

If mom were willing to drive a stick shift, I would not have worried about her driving it. Same goes for girlfriends I suppose.
The main problem I would have had with loaning it to a woman is the NVH (Noise, Vibration and Harshness) levels weren't up to the standards of a more modern car.

As an aside, that car is getting an injected Z-20 with an automatic and LOTS of insulation just so mom CAN drive it.

A 1200 with "lots of insulation"? Are you also taping the wing windows to eliminate the wind whistle? It would be nice to have a quiet 1200.
