just in case anyone is intrested, there is a 1200 ute for sale not far from my place.
I don't know much about it other than it has been painted flat black and appears to be in exclent condition (or the body is, dunno about engine etc.) The asking price is $1200.
If anyone is seriously intrested, I can go in and find out more about it.

Chewton would be a couple of hours (at least)drive from where you are. Its roughy a 40min. drive south of Bendigo.

ute for 1200 is pretty cheap no mater what condition its in, pity i would like it but theres too many 1200 utes with ca18's done, im thinking wagon now, if you see one in vic please contact me

Actually, I do know (kind of) a guy who has a wagon. Don't know if he'd sell it though, I could find out if you want.

It's been a while since I've seen it, but from what I remember it was dead original, the body work was good apart from the usual scratches here and there, it's green (sort of a deep horse chunder type green), original paint, wheels (I think), and interior, which was in fairly good nick. Thats about all I can remember.

sounds good, i got a call this arvo, ive got a full time job starting Dec 3 as part of my uni-course in mech engineering for 6 months, so hopefully in about 6 months ill be cruisin in a 1200 wagon fitted with ca18det

Its good to see that you got what you where chasing, if only finding a really good Wagon where so easy.
