I'm still stuffing around with this 60 series box and I've discovered that the gearstick pin for a 60 series is slightly smaller than everything else or at least mine is.
Put the verniers on a pin 8.9mm
A 56 4 speed hole is 9.0mm
Measure my 60 5 speed and its 8mm.

Is this normal and if so does anyone have the right pin?

Some use a pin with a circlip
Others use a shoulder bolt, one end being smaller diameter. So measure the 2nd hole.
