If anyone with an A series Auto could let me know what the stall rpm is on their car would be great.. I do have an old service manual and it says 1950 to 2000 rpm, but that's for a 3N71A not a 71B trans.

Also curious if its different on an A12 v an A15.

I'm wanting to work out what turbo would best suit an Auto street car.

Cheers

My information says 3N71A was fitted to Datsun 1000. 3N71B was fitted to 1200 and other cars.

Model: 3N71B X0100
Converter: 10-C
Stall Revolution: 1750-2000 rpm

The B would be a better choice as I am looking at doing the same thing with a higher stall and a shorter 1st

The 3N71B came with different stall converters. That higher stall was fitted to the 2.8 liter engines. The 3N71B in the 1200 had a lower stall converter.
