anyone done quarter bumpers on a 1200? should look good with those air holes behind the bumper exposed

they are bumpers for the front which are like 8 or 10 inches long that just fit on the quarters, basically a normal bumper with the centre cut out, for those that dont know

I think mk 2 escort sport bumpers which are that type would look great, from memory they have the indicators built into them.

I've got a set and they look grouse. The Mk 1 Lotus Cortina and Mk 1 Escort Mexico have the same type front bumpers and vent holes. Go for it especially if your original is damaged or rusty in the middle where they joined them.

They are from a complete 1200 front bumper. Cut them past the front supports that bolt to the rails so they'll mount as per original - there and to the guard. You can leave a flap where you make the cut and fold and tack it to the end (does that make sense?) Then it's off to the chromers for the triple dunk or Kmart for the matt black spray can.
