I am selling a 5 speed close ratio direct 5th gear dog leg option 2 works gear box.
The option 2 was made for rally/road race for the A series as opposed to the option 1 that was for circuit racing.
The ratios for this box are: - 1st 1:3.757. 2nd 1:2.374. 3rd 1.659. 4th 1:254 5th 1:1
This box has been rebuilt with new bearings and seals, syncros and gears are good, the box has been used since rebuild but is still great, everything is still tight, no slop.
I first had one of these boxes when they first came out, they are fantastic fun, the first one I purchased new was many many years ago in the 70's and was $500, it took me a while to track one down this one a few years ago.
I am selling this as I have a cruising yacht now and are clearing out the shed.
I am asking $1650 for this.
