Well since the sale of my HR prem Ive been on the lookout for a new family friendly cruiser. I had my heart set on a 1970 chevelle to replace it but at the moment with house reno's and putting kids through school later on it's something that will have to wait for my twilight years lol.

Enter the y wagon Ive always thought a jap styled y wagon would make a neat cruiser and be relatively cheap (compared to the chev)so set out to try and find a neat example. A few came and went then ended up buying this example off a mate who had had it in storage for a while its stock as a rock bar the mirrors, lip and wheels (which don't come with it). Plans for now are a general tidy up and go over everything mechanical then will add one of sikynes efi kits for hassle free cruising and slam it on some suitable jap wheels. Long term Id like to build an a14 or 15 and add a 5 speed an l series or sr conversion may be on the the cards later on to but this one will stay n/a still have the sedan if I feel the need for boost. Picking it up tomrrow so will grab some more pics then

Should of held out for the Chevelle I reckon Stu.

Just joking....looks like the wagon will make a nice family cruiser. How come you don't get to keep the wheels, mirrors and lip. Has he got another 120y to put them on?

Great looking wags!

Use the photobucket "Direct" link. See How Do I Link a Photo into a Discussion Topic?
