Hi all, I'm chasing a throttle shaft for twin Hitachis. They carbs look to be off an A12T, so I think I need PN: 16361-H5702. The original has been modified so as to be unusable! Cheers, Stewart

im chasing the throttle linkage (joins the two carby's and connects the accelerator cable)

i'm not sure if that's the same part referred to above, but if you dundee or someone else has that part i would be keen.

I think we are all chasing the same bit....
it's unfortunate the linkage drops out when you take the carbs/manifold off, and gets misplaced,
I have been hunting for years...
and 1200rallycar has been too,

oh ok, yeah

i've been thinking of modifying an L-series one to suit, but its not that simple to do, probably a day of stuffing around cutting welding measuring twice

Throttle Shaft goes through the carby and the throttle blades bolt to it.
Probably the same as L-series.
#1 in this diagram 16122 SHAFT ASS'Y-throttle

16361 AUXILIARY SHAFT ASS'Y-throttle goes between the carburetors. Very different from L-series which doesn't use a throttle cable.

Thanks for the feedback guys. It looks like fabrication of a new one will be the answer.

yeah, i think an l-series one is a good start, but it doesnt have a cable attachment and is too long, looks like you need to attach a cable attachment (probably from stock a-series single carby) and also cut the linkage shorter and rotate it somewhat when you join it back together

i havent attempted it yet or done the fine measurements of the ball ends etc to make sure though

it's a bit of mucking about, I fabbed one up on Monday,
it's not pretty, there are some weird angles going on there..

you said we could get a few made a few years ago, for $50.... are they still keen?
