How to do a "heater delete"

Did you know that some 1200s came from the factory without a room heater? Now that summer is coming (or ending) time is high for improving the heater situation.

If you wish to remove the heater, how is it done?
1. Drain engine coolant
2. Remove heater hose from the fitting behind the cylinder head and fit a plug

3. Remove heater hose from the lower radiator hose tee (or from water pipe on newer engines). Plug this fitting with a 1/2" rubber cap

Plugs can be purchased at your local auto parts store. They have a selection - just ask!

apart from no mirrors, radio most 1000 pov packs never came with a heater or passenger sun visor!
