Hi everyone, I haven't been on here for a while and was after peoples thoughts on z31 inserts in stanza struts. Going to convert to coil overs, got most of the bits but haven't decided on inserts yet. The inserts need to have a thread of m14x1.5 to suit my camber top. I want the car to sit low but not slammed. Any tips and in be keen for another set of stanza struts if someone wants to sell. Cheers

I use many different inserts but have some z31 koni yellows coming to make some struts to suit some big willwood brake conversion.

From what iv researched the z31 is about an inch shorter than the 240z, which might be better. I see what you mean, once I get the right height and it rides good I doubt I'd be adjusting it much.
What are the koni inserts worth supafatto?

If im not mistaken, Z31 inserts have M12 rod nut as do nearly all Datsun struts. You can get the right nut for your camber tops, it is larger Outside Diameter but with M12 threads internally

I know that koni's are good, but won't be able to spend that much on inserts.
What brands do people prefer.... Kyb, Monroe Pedders?
ddgonzal thanks I'll have to look into new nuts is the inserts are m12
