I have a late A14 engine. I am updating it from stock to a mild race engine with vintage racing. I am looking for a cam that will work in 11.5:1 compression and 93 octane pump gas. I will also be installing flat top pistons.

If you have a good one for sale (hope lifter included) or can direct me to a cam that will operate in the planned environment please email me at jrpayn342@gmail.com or call at 865 927.5895. I am located in eastern Tennessee.

Thank you

Contact Delta Cam in Tacoma, Washington. I ran a Delta Cam in my built A15 years ago. They do great work.

+1 on the Delta Cam, by happenstance I got mine from Datsa73 and it's what they call a 278. I believe it's 278 degree duration and .420 valve lift. I use 39mm Keihin flat slides with aforementioned camshaft, ported GX head with 37/30 tapered stem valves. I haven't dynoed the motor yet but we think it's around 105-110 horsepower at the wheels.

Delta charges $75 for a regrind, they can finish the lifters or you can just order new ones.
