Chasing information on the stock carburetor that came on the A15 engines.
Need to know if there is an alternative to bolt on to an oval port manifold Eg. A12 Carburetor or anything. Model numbers or anything of the sort.
I have one sitting in the garage that needs to be on my motor but here's the kicker, Previous owner had told me that it is running but not very well. His carburetor mechanic told him that it is not very good at all and some thing... somewhere inside has almost rendered it useless. so i'm not too keen on running this particular carburetor
.
If anyone has a stock carburetor off an A15 they could sell that would be great.. would like to get a few together and have them all inspected and built into one working carb..

Yes, you can use an A12 carburetor on an A15 engine. I ran mine for thousands of miles, ran pretty good, but not perfect. The A15 carburetor has bigger venturis, so performance above 4000 RPM was down a little
