i'm turboing an a14 help....

hi every one i have just picked up an a14 and i am gunna slap a little on to it. can any one give me a few pointers on what need to be done head, piston/conrod, and block wise thanx

what turbo
how much boost you want
what sort of compression are you after
ect. ect.???

HI dave, im wanting to the exact thing however im the same boat you are. I have no idea on what mods to the internals are required. I dont even know what size turbo im gonna get. Let me know how you go so i have some idea for when it comes time to build her.

How about putting a Pulsar turbo on it, and not modifying the A14 at all? If you keep the boost under 5 lbs it will be OK.

If you have a bigger carb and 2" exhaust, oh maybe 25% more than stock?

Check out the Twin-Turbo A12 engine.

Also try the search box on the left to search for A14 turbo%

ok cool. now i think there was a discussion about turbos a little while ago but i cant find it a mechanic mate of mine has a turbo off of a 2.8 pajero (diesel) can u use them on petrol motors he only wants $100 for it thats y i am asking thanx
