Package tray ???

Hi All

Does anyone have a picture or measurements of the under dash package tray bracket
I believe it screws into the firewall from inside vehicle

I have a tray on its way to me.

Pretty sure it mounts to dash and side kick panel area
However I don't have the bracket that screws into firewall

I think it's just a simple hook type bracket, that the tray rests on in the middle

Hoping I can fabricate one up with sheet metal maybe

If someone has a picture of the bracket or knows where I might be able to buy one.

Thanks for your help

I'd be interested to see what this bracket looks like to (if anyone has a pic) as I have one of those shelves that's been sitting in my shed for years. Was planning to put it in one day, but didn't realize I might need a special bracket.

The factory parts catalogs are not clear on this. They list two brackets:
* 67830-H1000 CAP-BRACKET PACKAGE TRAY SEDAN(STD)
* 67322-G1000 BRACKET-package tray TRUCK

It looks like the first is a CAP like put over the edge of a sharp edge - Coupe didn't use this only STD SEDAN. RHD & LHD uses the same CAP. Japan catalog lists it but doesn't show it in the diagram

The second is Sunny Truck only

Hey thanks David

Were those pictures in the tech wiki ?

Sorry, I did look about I there, maybe I missed them

The one I think I need is part "26" in the 105 truck picture

The two self tap screws and holes are there

Looks like I just need to make the supporting bracket

Thanks heaps 👍

They are in the wiki in the Catalog but only as part of larger diagrams. I can add them to the Package Tray article

Does your ute have this bracket? maybe that's what #26 is for?

My tray hasn't arrived yet

But looking at the pictures

I think the plastic tray has that upright part that bolts to dash

Two slots on side, bolt or screw to kick panel

Number 26 bracket there are two holes in the firewall
I'm missing that support bracket

Just checked my package tray and both of my Utes....no bracket to be found. It looks like something that could be pretty easily bent up from a piece of sheet metal. It just tucks into a little pocket at the back of the shelf. But, worth trying Nissan as it is still listed and price should be around $20.

Thanks for checking cadet1200

A few dimensions would be good

I think I could fold some sheet metal up to match

If anyone has a picture of bracket they can put a measuring tape next to

Would be great.

If not I'll try bending one up when my tray arrives

The bracket doesn't appear to be used on coupes or sedans, so it probably is not need, perhaps it is there because the ute is a "utility" and they expected customers to carry heavy tools in the package try and so needs a bracket?

here's some more photos
