Interested to know if an A12 M30 head would bolt directly onto an A15 Block?

The A12 head I have is heavily worked, hence the reason for wanting to keep using it.

Thanks

A14/A15 engine block can use every A-series head known to man

In some cases you may have to swap inlet & exhaust manifolds also

Early engines (A10 and early A12 to 1973) need certain heads

Sweet! Hopefully I can gain some much needed torque.

@ddgonzal Would my high lift cam from the A12 fit in the A15? I'm guessing if I use the cam, I'll need new lifters, the longer A15 pushrods?
Cheers

Use the pushrods that match the block. A14/A15 use the long pushrods

Late model engines (1974 up) all use the same cam blanks so the different finished cams are interchangable. But 1970-1973 A12 uses a different style cam

Yes, always use new lifters (or re-faced lifters) when changing the cam. I reckon you could re-use the lifters with the cam if you number them when removing from the A12 and installing in the A15 (both use the same lifter part number)

High-lift cam? Be sure to check the piston-to-valve clearance as A12 and A15 pistons have different dish sizes and or dish shape
