As a long standing member of the group/club I stand for many members (through phone conversations and sms chat) who in a nutshell dont join up or login to this group to be bombarded with Conspiracy theories(emphasis on Theories) about the state of the world and Past Present events/tragedies.

The non datsun related topics and conversations (off topic)should in my opinion be removed and just not allowed here.
Or even better would be ignore or delete function So we can have our say by saying we dont want that in our posts/thread.

I have quite a few mates/members who just wont sign in anymore due to many run ins and off topic and some who are wanting or acting on getting accounts deleted myself included.

This is not a place for that kind of stuff its not to say it has no place but people can go find forums and blogs for those conversations.

At the end of the day this site is for and about datsuns and datsun related topics.

I agree - as there seems to be diminishing content on this, my once favorite forum for 'light-hearted' Datto banter,
the balance has gone.
Lets keep this forum as a haven to escape the troubles of todays world.
There a plenty of other forums that you can used to vent polarising views
Talking about Datto's rarely polarises anyone "seriously"

Unfamilia the personal attacks come mate just in little barbs digs and misinformed assumptions about how we and our families live our lives.

As well as how our belief systems are apparently influenced by the government and the media in other threads started.

That's life bullies and dictators all graduate to the internet eventually.

I've dealt with bullies all my life they dont phase me especially face to face my friend.

I am here for datsun and car related stuff, there are plenty of other forums around for freedom of speech garbage.

Keep it car related and you will keep the forum alive for a while yet, keep going down the current path and you will have killed the forum.
