To those running 15 inch rims on a 1200 (sedan) Like TRX rims or 14 inch.

Trying to find out what a good offset is to run 195/50/15. or 185/60/14.

TRX Wheels I think are 15" wheels, 5.5" (or 6"?) wide, Offset +35

That's a fairly big offset for tyres that are 40mm wider than stock. Reportedly the TRX wheels require spacers to fit a 1200

this 1200 has flaring to accommodate 195/50R15 tyres

need to cut the front bottom corner out of the front guards for clearance when turning

185 is great for the front. 195 is pushing it, takes a more specific offset

From the various reports it seems 195 requires +20 offset, 185 needs 15-25 offset and 175 works with 10-30 offset. That's with stock bodywork 1200. By comparison the back of the 1200 has more room and can take a larger range of offsets

Diameter (affects acceleration and speedo readout)
stock 1200 tyre: 554 mm diameter
diameter 185/60R14: 577mm (torque reduced 3.6%)
diameter 195/50R15: 577mm
diameter 175/55R15: 577mm

175/55R15 should fit pretty well on the front. They are available from Yokohama, Continental, Kumho, Vredestein, Hankook, Bridgestone, etc. Tirerack.com

Hey mate,
I'm running 14 inch R31 skyline steel rims (from memory they're 14 x 5.5 inch with a +30 offset). As mentioned by others, the front lower corner of the front guards needs to be massaged and rolling the lip of the front portion of the guard is also beneficial.
Been ages since it was actually done to my ute, so a little hazy on what we did.
No fitment issues on the back though (again as others have said).

I'd run and grab measurements for you, but i'm in Western Australia and my ute is in Queensland.

Not sure where you're at with your build, but if you're planning a brake upgrade in the future make sure your wheels will fit your planned discs/calipers.
Cheers
