VB10 light van has bars on the rear side window. Are these used for tying down cargo? Or were they intended to prevent cargo from sliding into the glass and breaking it?

They are more complicated than the 1200 van bars

1000 uses different brackets front and rear. Plus uses special pillar/partition cover. Many more part numbers, more complicated brackets ... it was rationalized (simplified) for the 1200
