This thing is glorious with an engine just smaller than the FJ from factory but the mighty 3tc can also be taken up to 2.4L

better than any new car for 40k aud

That thing is gorgeous, the size of the B310, with some of square-styling looks of the others

Toyota is good at copying, but then they make it better than the original

It's a A70, innit? So a TA70 with T-series hemi engine

There are a couple of old AE86 here on our island county, including a notchback and a panda. And one of these 1985 Supra and the supra-looking Celica, both rusted beyond restoration (but i can always dream)

Are those F8A or F8B wheels?

The great thing about wood gas is that it's a biofuel

I never even knew there was an A and a B version of the watts, maybe production runs or race vs street, magnesium content?

Toyota enthusiasts use the 3Y crank into the 2/3tc engines which is an OHV crankshaft into either the legendary hemi tc head
or the tg twin cam head. There are some 16v twin spark heads factory and aftermarket but fetch the moon.

Thanks for posting that pic off the video!!! its a rare 2 door van and sounds amazing pulling away...which country Germany?
Those guys are not mainstream consumers it seems :)

The Russian translated vid tells that its higher octane just lower energy but an engine to suit wood gas was never fully developed.

Low energy high octane would suit a well designed flat head/side valve slow burn and high torque at low rpm like a diesel but
way less stress as compression could be around 14 to 1 like Mazda and Nissan engines are using today.
