a12 to replace a10 in '67 b10

my a10 is finally dying...how much to get a rebuit a12? and how hard is it to fit? do i make my own engine mounts or..?an y info appreciated im new to the datsun world!!!!!!!! jaek!!

welcome! in the tech section ther is info on engine swaps. a12s are a fairly cheap engine should be able to pick on up for a few hundred bucks

be sure to use the early a12 block,with the distributor in the same place as the a10,& use the a10 engine brackets & mounts,& it will bolt straight in.that was what i used in my 1000 coupe racecar(the one doing the doughnut).later blocks & a14/15's need mounts fabricated,so i'd go for the easiest way first up.
