Oh my gosh, what a difference! Last weekend I got/installed a new Tilton aluminum flywheel (7lbs), and NISMO clutch cover (stock disk). The car runs awesome now! I was using a stock clutch/flywheel previously, and it would slip if I tried to launch with another person in the car. With the new setup it revs so hard and freely especially in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd gear, it is awesome. Even with another person in the car if I hit the gas with the clutch fully out it'll start lighting up the tires! The clutch grabs too....there is not much slip, if any, and the pedal is nice and stiff. I recommend this setup to anyone who can afford it. It cost $400 for the flywheel and $250 for the clutch cover, but it's worth it. I can't wait to take it to the track and see what it runs now, probably in the 15's, I was goin 16.5 before but this made a big difference. Just thought I'd share... have a great day!

Wow. Just noticed that 7 pounds is actually like 3.175 Kg's.
That is very light....
You do realise that it will be harder to tow trailers, caravans and speedboats now?

I thikn that the standard A12 flywheel is 10 Kgs my lightened one is 7 Kgs...

Yeah that's in US dollars. You can still get these Tilton flywheels, although I don't know about availability in other parts of the world, but I think Nissan Motorsports could ship world wide....I'm not sure.
