Hello all,

I’m considering buying a SR16 engine and transplanting it into one of my coupe’s.

Does anyone know of a RWD gearbox that will bolt up to one of these or at least take minimum modification to bolt up?

Any input or advise is welcome.

Thanks
Brent

You'd be best to get a SR20DE or DET gearbox. from an S13/14/15 Silvia.

The front wheel drive manifolds and distributer could cause headaches. You'd be better off to use a RWD motor. Unless you have the expertise to use the SR20 bits on the SR16..I was thinking of doing it to an SR18 from a late model Sunny..
