I'm not sure what you mean by "minitruck style", but these are the lowest utes in the Photo Gallery:

glad that mine got a mention!!! Didn't think anyone could notice...nor do l know who took the photo and posted it!! (white 1200 ute)

It doesn't look too low coz we cut about 1 1/2 inches of the rear guard to fit better.

It will be lower when l finally get my height adjustable suspension made...

its definately in "mini trucker" mode at the moment... I'll post some photos when l finish the bodywork next week.

i hope nobody does that to a 1200

low looks good and makes the car more stable but they are just impracticle!

thats what i think anayway

i could go on but ill just say two words,

speed-humps and driveways

technically that could be 3 but thats not my point

yeah they've got driveways and speed humps covered aswell....they all use air bag systems which mean that they get up to 8 inches of travel...
so you'll find most of them driving around the street well above legal, but when they want to, they dump it till its scraping.

Its not big here yet, but the clubs and kits are fast getting popular.

So far mine has been done really dodgy....flipped the rear leafs and cut the front springs!!

It surprisingly still handles and drives really well, without scraping on anything.

I've designed some height adjustable coil overs, to go onto 1600 struts which l'll be fitting in the ute soon.

I'm running 15" x 6 with 195-45's. The only thing stopping you going super low are the front guards(Inner and outer)...
