Hi guys, does anyone have a genuine wood wheel for a 1200 condition not important
but must be complete or even a good close up photo as I might end up using a 240K wheel
cheers Ade

How are you going to use a 240K one. The 1200 and 120Y Steering wheel splines are the same, but the 240K,Z car, 1600, 180B, 200B are all the same.

The GX model came with a wooden wheel as an option, similar to the 1600SSS ones.

I think Nardi still make a boss kit with a spline suitable for 1200s.

Hi Chris, yes you are quite right the 240k boss is larger, what I will have to do is machine off the original boss and adapt an aftermarket boss to suit my 1200 column.
Idealy what I want is an original 1200 wood wheel

I never thought about using an aftermarket low profile boss kit. I was considering some pretty radical machine work. .Hmm. I've got a like new 240Z wooden one. I might fit that..Good Idea. I'll have to look closer at the centre. I'll be moving my seat back a little, so the added length to the steering column shouldn't be too bad. Although, the 240Z Steering wheel has the same offset and diameter as the original 1200 one.

Thanks for idea,
Chris.

Hi Chris my plan was to machine down the welded spline so I have a flat centre section to bolt the aftermarket boss to andthanks for the info on the offset and size as I had not got that far.
cheers Ade
