someones offered to swap me a celica 5-speed supposedly in good condition

what are they worth?

and how much does it cost to get a dellow bellhousing and what else do i need/have to do to get it in

All over pick-a-part for about 150 for any 5 speed. Or 75 bucks all you can carry T or w series. T series fits easier but can handle less unless its a 3tg turbo import.

Dello do the kit for $800.
But I've seen them go for much more then that.
They are a great gearbox when you put them in a 1200

I found my original Dellow reciept.
i bought my kit part # Kit S-DA
came with bellhousing pilot bush clutch plate (wrong) adjustable pivot ball retaining ring.
All this freighted to Perth for the sum of $424.75
Bear in mind this was 22/.4/1998.
I better fit it one day hey.
I'd be happy to let anyone know the mods required to the release bearing /snout assy if they want to know.

go for it.....even if the box has had it,they are readily available at most wreckers etc etc....i reckon the celica box is superior in design, strength and out of the box gear ratios.

It was one of the best conversions i ever did .....I fitted the 3T box to my coupe...I found it compliments the a-series engine....for me it filled the gap between 2nd and 3rd on the standard datto 4sp.
