Hi Datto nutters I'm brand new to this site , but have been a guest for a long while.
What I need to know is if there are so many members how come I have only seen no more than 9 members loged on at any one time. And why do most members not respond to or answer their added threads.

there are alot of members on the site but some people just join up to put thier ads on the site, some people come on once a month and etc..

but the members you see on all the time are regulars that are always on like 1200rallycar ,me, DD and lots more.

the site can be addictive

Hi,

Our max is about 20 members online, but we had a max of 812 visits a day, not bad
As for the answers, dont know, a think we have a good way to keep up with the new stuff at the site, ask again, that's what I do

Yes, they may be "part-time" members that actually have jobs or other interests. Most try to get back to their posts for a few days, but if it's picked up weeks/months/years later, chances are they aren't going to see it.

Another reason a question may not be answered is ... we may not know, or we might have missed it. Or figured, I'll answer that later, then forgot.

I can confirm that at least some of us check in every single day.

Hi,

One of the reason that not so many members are logged in at the same time is because the time zone difference, because as we are a world club, some members are getting up in the morning while others are preparing to go to sleep.

Long live this world community!

Untill a few months ago I used to read every topic. Then this site really took off and now I dont usually have time to go through everything. I too forget what I reponded to or can't find the topic. Especially comments on pictures. If a picture drops off the home page's recent 20, its almost impossible to find.
I also moved my computer to the family room and my manuals/ catalogs to the work shop. It is now a little more difficult for me to look up an answer and post it.
I will try to be more responsible with my posts/comments.
